The word Ayaan means “Gift of God” and has drawn inspiration from northern Indian classical music. “Ayaan” features Indian Rajasthani tablas style played by Rahis Bharti from Dhoad Ensemble, the Pakistani singer Reshail Mansoor and Indian sitar player Rohini Sahajpal both based in Norway.
